3. Moodle E-Learning System

ITU is pleased to introduce two major enhancements on Moodle, namely inbox/outbox pages on message function and extended logon timeout.

Inbox/outbox pages on message function
You can check your archived incoming/outgoing messages easily with these two pages. For teacher, mass messages (if available) in outbox page will be grouped as one entry but clicking "Show all" link will display a list of recipients.

 Moodle In/Out pages

On the other hand, every time the teacher sends mass messages to students, the message will also be sent to his Outlook email account automatically.  So he can read it in his message inbox as well as his email account.

Extended logon timeout
The interval is extended from 30 minutes to an hour.
The logon timeout refers to the interval the user is idle (without loading pages) on Moodle and will be logged out automatically.
