There are some tips on how to identify and handle suspicious email

While suspicious email will pretend to be CPCE / HKCC / SPEED member in Display Name, it will carry non-CPCE email address which user may check if the email sent from email address with @cpce-polyu.edu.hk
/ @hkcc-polyu.edu.hk / @speed-polyu.edu.hk

CPCE has implemented email protection system, ATP, and users may see if there is ATP warning in subject, e.g., [ATP - Suspicious sender, may be spoofing email] |
| Email Content |
Most suspicious email contains strange content, e.g., “Do a favor” or “Are you free”, “Kindly send me your whatsapp phone number for easy communication..” |

You may contact related CPCE / HKCC / SPEED member via another way, e.g., phone call, to verify if the email is sent by him / her |
How to handle suspicious email |

2.Forward the email to ITU helpdesk (itu.helpdesk@cpce-polyu.edu.hk) for following up
3.Delete the email
