1. New Express Printing Area
In view of the increasing demand for express printing service, ITU is glad to announce two new express printing areas on 6/F, HHB campus and 7/F North Tower, WK campus are open. Besides, four new high-speed photocopiers have replaced their old models in express printing areas and CLIB in this new academic year.
The following is the distribution of Oce Printer and Photocopier in HHB and WK campuses, users are welcome to use the facilities in the corresponding opening hours.

2. Wi-Fi Auto Configuration Software
To encourage students and staff to use "CPCE_Staff" or "CPCE_Student" instead of "CPCE_Staff_M" and "CPCE_Student_M" as former provides better security feature, an Auto Configuration Software is provided to help user more easy to setup 802.1x profile on their devices just run to software. The Auto Configuration Software supports Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Android.
User may obtain the Auto Configuration Software on the web site through an open SSID "CPCE_WiFi_Config" that on CPCE’s Wi-Fi system and users are welcome to ITU helpdesk if any assistance needed.

5. Mobile Version of Moodle E-learning System
Following the success of upgrade of Moodle 2.3 E-learning System, ITU is pleased to announce that the mobile version for Moodle is ready. When accessing the system
(http://moodle.cpce-polyu.edu.hk) using an internet browser on your mobile devices such as iPhone, iPod Touch, Android phone and Windows phone, a mobile-device-friendly version of Moodle will be automatically displayed to fit screen resolution of the devices. Students can now be easily to access your course materials in your mobile devices.
While most features are the same as the desktop version, students can only login Moodle using your college account in the mobile version (Live@edu dual-login method is not compatible with mobile devices). Users using Tablet devices such as iPad and Android tabs will still access the desktop version of Moodle.

6. IT Training Workshops
ITU has successfully held various IT Training workshops for staff and students in August and September 2012, more than 150 staff and 20 students participated in our training.
