1. [Reminder] Removal of Semester 1, 2023/24 Blackboard Materials (Student Only)

As announced in the 145th edition of the ITU newsletter, materials from Semester 1 of the 2023/24 academic year on Blackboard will be permanently removed. The removal process is scheduled for 19 February 2025. Students are advised to download any required materials before this date to avoid losing access to these resources permanently.

2. New Software Available on the Remote Student Computer Centre (RSCC)

We are pleased to announce that the following software will be added to the Remote Student Computer Centre (RSCC):

• SAS
• PowerWorld

These software packages will be ready by mid-February 2025 in RSCC. Please note that the RSCC's operating hours aligned with the Student Computer Centre (SCC) hours. Students are reminded to back up their work before the RSCC closing time to avoid data loss.

3. Availability of iThenticate for Academic Staff (Staff Only)

CPCE is providing all full-time academic staff access to iThenticate, a leading plagiarism detection tool. Widely used by researchers, publishers, and academic institutions, iThenticate ensures the originality of written content by comparing documents against an extensive database of academic publications, web content, and other sources.
