1. Print Quota Arrangement for Staff (Academic Year 2025/26)
The Information Technology Unit (ITU) has allocated print quotas for staff in the 2025/26 academic year. Quotas apply to both black/white (B/W) and colour printing/photocopying.
Staff can manage print jobs through Papercut software by logging in with their CPCE Username and collecting documents using staff cards at designated printers and photocopiers located on S5/F, S12/F, S13/F, and 14/F (Resource Centre).

When quotas are exhausted, staff can top up at the iPrint Kiosk on the 13/F, South Tower. Additional details on staff printing are available on the CPCE IT support site.

2. Print Quota Arrangement for Students of 2025 Intake Cohort
Students of the 2025 intake are allocated 5,000 print quotas for their entire study period at CPCE. Printing and photocopying services are accessible by student ID card at designated campus locations.

Quota Types:
1. College-allocated quota – 5,000 units.
2. Self-reloaded quota – reload via Octopus card at iPrint Kiosks (non-refundable, cleared upon graduation/withdrawal).
Usage Guidelines
- Check balances at iPrint Kiosks or the "CPCE PolyU" app.
- Log in before printing; log out after use.
- "Follow-me-Printing" allows job pickup at any KM printer (jobs auto-deleted after 4 hours).

3. Relocation of IT Service Counter

4. Major Upgrade of Campus Public Computer
There is major upgrade of Campus public computer, Lecture Theatre, Classroom, lab, SCC, etc, during summer. Apart from hardware upgrade to latest model, software upgrade is upgraded to Windows 11 and Office 2024, plus other software upgrade, e.g., IT lab software upgrade. 5. Free Microsoft Office App License for Students and Staff
Microsoft 365 enables current students and staff to install the latest version of Microsoft Office app on your PC/Mac, tablet or smart phone for free. Each student and staff can install Office on up to 5 PCs/ Macs, 5 tablets (iPad, and Android) or smart phones.
For the detail installation guide, please login CPCE Portal and refer to the ‘Office 365 OWA User Guide’
As the free license is only available to current students and staff, users are required to uninstall Microsoft Office when they are no longer a member of the CPCE College community.
