3. IT Tips : Leveraging Co-pilot for Exam Preparation (Student Only)

As Semester 1 examinations approach, students are encouraged to make effective use of digital tools to support their revision. Microsoft Copilot provides several practical features that can help streamline preparation and enhance learning efficiency. Key use cases include:

  • Generate personalized study plans tailored to specific subjects and topics.
  • Create concise summaries of lecture notes or long reading materials for quick review.
  • Produce flash cards to reinforce key concepts and improve memory retention.
  • Draft mock questions and practice quizzes to test understanding and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Organize revision schedules to balance workload and maintain steady progress.
  • Explain difficult concepts in simpler terms and provide examples to strengthen comprehension.

By incorporating these AI-assisted techniques, students can revise more effectively and approach their exams with greater confidence.

4. Blackboard Old Materials removal Exercise

Please note that the Blackboard housekeeping exercise (old materials removal) originally planned for February 2025 has been rescheduled to early 2026. This adjustment allows additional time to ensure a smooth and well-coordinated transition for all users. As highlighted in the earlier announcement, user access to old courses will be terminated as part of this exercise, and users are reminded to download any necessary course materials if you have not yet done so.

ITU will provide the confirmed schedule and further details in due course.
