1. Google Gemini Enterprise – Registration

We are pleased to announce that Google Gemini Enterprise is now available for eligible staff and students to apply. Please follow the guide inside the invitation email sent to you on 21 Feb 2026 to complete the registration.


Gemini Enterprise is an advanced agentic platform that brings Google's best AI tools to your workflows in a secure environment. This access includes a powerful suite of specialized agents and models:


  1. Deep Research: Slashes research time by automatically searching hundreds of sources and generating comprehensive, cited reports.
  2. NotebookLM: An AI research and writing assistant that summarizes and extracts insights from your documents, now capable of generating visual infographics from your sources.
  3. Nano Banana Pro: Google's state-of-the-art model for creating and editing high-quality, realistic images and infographics with studio-level control.
  4. Veo: Provides access to advanced video creation features for generating cinematic scenes and stories.
  5. Idea Generation: An agent designed to help innovate by generating and ranking novel ideas using an advanced competition framework.

If you have lost the email with the subject “Google Gemini Enterprise – Registration Now Open”, please follow the steps below to complete the registration.


  1. Log in to the CPCE Portal: https://portal.cpce-polyu.edu.hk
  2. Under the Gemini Enterprise icon, click “Registration”.
  3. Follow the instructions in the confirmation email to complete service access.

2. Enhancements to Remote Student Computer Centre (Remote SCC)

Enhancement work has been implemented in the Remote SCC to better support increasing workload and advanced applications:


  1. PC Upgrade
    New PCs equipped with Intel i7 CPUs and 32GB RAM have been deployed to meet growing performance demands.
  2. GPU PC Availability.
    A new batch of remote PCs featuring Blackwell GPUs has been deployed. These machines support more concurrent users and are suitable for compute-intensive engineering applications such as SolidWorks.

3. New Reference Page for Staff (Staff Only)

To help new staff apply for college IT services and request equipment loans, a dedicated reference page is now available under the IT Support site. It includes information and links for:

  • iThenticate
  • Google Gemini Enterprise
  • Zoom
  • Other IT service
  • Equipment loan request forms (e.g., notebook computers, iPads)
