1. Tips on Using New Express Printing Service

Here are some tips to help you better use our new express printing service:

1. LED Tower Signal for Printer Status

Red LED: Printing is NOT ready for use due to paper jams, error codes, no paper or no toner. Please use other KM printers and contact ITU for maintenance.
Green LED: Printing is available.

2. Login to Print Quota Management System

Students are reminded to login to the Print Quota Management System in PC before submission and collecting their print jobs at Konica Minolta (KM) printers.

3. First-time Registration on 11/F (HHB) and 5/F (WK) Student Computer Centers (SCC)

Before using the system, students are required to perform the first-time registration. For year 2 students, please bring along your student ID card to SCC for registration; for year 1 students, please ignore this step as registration have been done for you automatically.

4. Logout Before Login

It is a good practice to press the "logout" button before/after login the KM printer.

5. Check or Reload Print Units at iKiosk but No Refund

You can check your print balance at iKiosk located at express printing areas and Student Computer Centers. If your print balance is used up, please top up the print units/quotas by Octopus card at the iKiosks, it is not suggested topping up too much value in your print balance (better less than $50) as print balance is non-refundable and non-transferrable at any time.

6. Follow-me-Printing

Collect your print job at any of the KM printers in your home campus. Uncollected print jobs will be deleted in printing pool after 4-hour automatically.

Should you have any enquiries, please contact our helpdesk at 3746-0818 (HHB) or 3746-0819 (WK) or email to pfitoper@cpce-polyu.edu.hk.
