1. Mobile Teaching Reminder : Please Test Your App / iPad After Updating (Staff Only)
As you may aware, Apple has released its newest version of iOS (operation system of iPad), iOS 9.
On the other hand, there are several major releases of apps recently, like Microsoft Word,
Powerpoint, Excel, Youtube, Bamboo paper, etc, bundled in your iPad since original distribution.
You are strongly recommended to test the newly upgraded apps before your lesson if you decide
to upgrade the apps/iOS for your teaching purpose. There are cases reported regarding users fail
to launch the newly upgraded apps. Please contact ITU helpdesk if you need advice on upgrade/test your iPad.

3. Tips of Microsoft Office 365 Email Service
1. A New Feature 'Clutter' Introduced in Microsoft Office 365 Email Service
This feature automatically analyzes your mailbox, checks the most read/unread emails and
moves the unwanted unread emails that are in the user's mailbox to a new folder called 'Clutter'
once you enable this feature in your mailbox.
This feature can be enabled/disabled by users through Office 365 Outlook Web Access (OWA).
Steps to enable/disable it:

Open OWA (http://email.cpce-polyu.edu.hk).

Click the Settings (
) icon in the navigation bar.

Click 'Options'

Select the 'Clutter' and there you will have 2 options to enable or disable the clutter feature as shown below.

When this feature is enabled, user will has an option to right click on any emails in Inbox and have an option as 'Mark as clutter' as shown below.

Clutter might get it wrong. If user right click on any email that is in 'Clutter' folder, user have an option to 'Mark as not clutter'.
This option can be used by user if you identify any important emails moved to the 'Clutter' folder.

2. As a student, how to change the Office 365 Email Service login password?
The login password of Office 365 student email account is directly synchronized from
CPCE student user account's password (i.e. the password use for login CPCE Portal, Moodle E-learning,
PC in student computer center, my.HKCC, my.SPEED, etc.). Therefore, student should change Office 365
login password via the 'Change Password' shortcut link after login the CPCE Portal
(http://portal.cpce-polyu.edu.hk).

4. Reminder on Moodle
- Browser Requirement for New Moodle system
Subsequent to the upgrade of Moodle e-learning system in the semester One of 2015/16,
ITU suggests users to use the following browsers to access the Moodle for better performance:
- Firefox 25 or above,
- Google Chrome 30 or above, or
- Safari 6 or above
You may check the version of your browser by this online tool http://www.whatismybrowser.com/.
Or simply download and install the latest version of Firefox at http://www.firefox.com/.

- Mobile Web and Mobile App of Moodle E-learning System
You may use any web browser in your mobile device such as iPads, iPhones, Android phones
and Windows phones to view and access the Moodle system
(http://www.cpce-polyu.edu.hk/itu/e-learning),
the Moodle system can adjust its resolution automatically when displaying on
different mobile devices. Users can access Moodle materials on mobile devices easily.
Regarding the Mobile app for Moodle, users are not suggest to download or install it from App Store or Google Play
at this moment since the app is not stable after our evaluation. ITU is working on enhancing the system to support
a reliable Moodle apps. Details will be announced later.

5. Colour Printing / Photocopying Service at Express Printing Area (Student Only)
It is a gentle reminder to student that in addition to Student Computer Centres(SCC),
colour printers/photocopiers are also available in some Express Printing Areas,
their charging rate is different from Black/While (B/W) printers, details are as follows:
