1. Launch of CPCE Mobile App
ITU is pleased to announce that the new CPCE Mobile App (Beta Version) is ready for download.
This App provides access to a variety of information about The PolyU - affiliated College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE)
and its educational units of Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED).
It is developed to keep our students, staff and visitors connected with CPCE at anytime, anywhere.
We will continue to develop this app to improve your browsing experience, and provide you with more useful information.
This beta version includes the following features:
- Campus Location
- Contacts
- Shuttle Bus Service
- Service Suspension
- Learning Facilities
- Libraries
- QR Reader [External Tool Helps Scan QR Code]
This App can be downloaded from the App Store for iPhones or iPads or from Google Play for Android devices,

to choose your right platform for installation.

2. Reminder: New ITU Service Counter at room 1201, 12/F, Hung Hom Bay Campus
ITU is glad to announce that our new service counter at room 1201 on 12th floor of Hung Hom Bay Campus has been in service.
This counter is located on 12th floor provides convenience and is more accessible for staff and students at Hung Hom Bay Campus.
It mainly provides IT helpdesk counter service during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm).
Please approach existing helpdesk counter at Student Computer Centre (SCC) on 11th floor for assistance after the office hour.

3. Installation of New VPN Software to Access SMS and PolyU Admin. Systems [Staff Using SMS / PolyU Administrative Systems Only]
As informed by PolyU ITS, current Virtual Private Network (VPN) software to access PolyU applications
will be phased out by the end of this year. A new VPN software, Pulse secure, is ready for replacement.
To facilitate the transition, ITU is arranging replacement work with units and colleagues are
welcome to contact the colleagues serving your unit for enquiries.

4. Preparation of Mobile Student Feedback Questionnaire (mSFQ) Exercise [Students Only]
mSFQ is to collect students' feedback on the programme, subject and teacher regularly,
normally on a semester or course basis. Students' feedback is anonymous and this will not affect their grades.
For the details of mSFQ, please refer to https://ssoportal.cpce-polyu.edu.hk/mobileSFQ/
The upcoming round of mSFQ exercise will be conducted in October 2015, student should note:
- You need a CPCE AD account (i.e. Account to login Student email / campus computer / Moodle)
to access the system. Students who only have a valid CPCE computer account can access to the system.
- Prepare your mobile phone/notebook and make sure they are more than 40% battery charged.
- Get a QR code scanner for your mobile phone, it helps you to access the hyperlink of mSFQ quickly.
You may download the suggested QR code scanner app from https://ssoportal.cpce-polyu.edu.hk/QRcode/,
or your preferred QR code scanner app from Apple Store or Google Play.
