1. IT Mega Sales for Semester 2

ITU is pleased to announce another round of IT Mega Sales and roadshows is started, Apple and Microsoft are the vendor for roadshow this time. User may check IT Product Mega Sales in CPCE Portal (http://portal.cpce-polyu.edu.hk) for updated information. Interested students and staff are welcome to contact vendor for details.

User is reminded online ordering ends at 31 March.

2. Secure Your Data in USB Flash Drive

It is a regular reminder about securing your data in USB flash drive which it contains important data like project and term paper. To prevent data lost due to USB flash drive failure or losing, student is strongly advised,

Copy your files from USB thumb drive to other location, e.g. home PC, regularly for backup purpose
Use USB thumb drive on PC only with updated Anti-Virus software installed
Enable password protection software on USB thumb drive, if available

Another approach is to make use of online storage, e.g. under CPCE's student email account, you can make use of Microsoft OneDrive, which is bundled with your account and provide 1TB of storage. Student is welcome to approach ITU helpdesk for enquiry on this topic.
