1. New Wireless Microphone Receiver in Lecture Theatre (Staff Only)

ITU is pleased to announce the completion of upgrade wireless microphone receiver in lecture theatres in both campuses. If you are beltpack microphone users, please remember to "sync" signal to the receiver before you use the microphone in the lecture theatres. And please turn off your microphone after use to minimize inconvenience to next venue user.

2. Mobile Teaching Tips : Reminder on iOS 11

Users may aware that new version of iOS, iOS 11 is released by Apple in late September. There are notable improvements in iOS 11, e.g., built-in support of QR code reader, and users may visit Apple web page at https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-11/ for details of iOS 11.

On the other hand, there are issues found in iOS 11 including possible compatibility issue with Office 365 (O365) email system which is used by CPCE users, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208136/ .

If you are iOS users and need to access to O365 on your device, you are suggested not to update your version at this moment until there is a resolution from Apple to fix this issue. Users may contact ITU helpdesk at x0818 / x0819 should any further information needed on this topic.

3. Deadline for Placing Order to IT Mega Sale

A list of software download link of IT lab software is available in the Software Inventory of CPCE Portal, students are welcome to visit the page and download necessary software for self-practice purpose.
