1. New Wi-Fi Printing Service in HHB and WK Campuses (Student only)

ITU is pleased to introduce a new printing service to students, Wi-Fi printing. This new Wi-Fi printing service will be implemented in two phases. Details are as follows:

2. Reminder : Free MS Office 365 ProPlus License for Students and Staff

Office 365 ProPlus enables current students and staff to install the latest version of MS office on their PC/Mac, tablet or smart phone for free. Each student and staff can install Office on up to 5 PCs/ Macs, 5 tablets (iPad, and Android) or smart phones.

As the free license is only available to current students and staff, users are required to uninstall MS Office when they are no longer a member of the CPCE College community.

How to access Internet Explorer

Microsoft Edge is default browser for Windows 10. Should user has a need to access Internet Explorer instead of Microsoft Edge, for example, using MLM, user can observe steps in the following link,

Managed Windows Update Service

To better manage software patch released by Microsoft, ITU has setup Windows Update Service to centrally manage Windows Update of Windows 10 PC (including Windows and Office Update). In view of this, user may encounter the following reminder on Windows Update Page which indicates updates are managed.

User is welcome to approach IT support colleagues serving your unit on details of the setting. ITU shall regularly review and release update patch depending on maturity and urgency.
