1. Survey on IT Services

ITU is conducting a user survey on the provision of IT services. Your valuable feedback can help ITU further enhance the arrangement and performance of IT services in the future. All responses will remain anonymous.

2. Alert on Phishing Mail

User is drawn attention about recent report of phishing emails,

1. "Hello" in subject
There are fake e-mail messages pretending CPCE user with “Hello” in subject. The spammer would request victim to send iTunes card code.

2. Screenshots on user PC
Suspicious e-mail message claims user PC is compromised and screenshots are made recording their activities. The sender requests payment to a bitcoin account on the case.

User is reminded above typical phishing emails and DO NOT respond to such messages. If you have replied this message, please report to ITU Helpdesk.

3. Refreshment Self-practice sessions for CAPMS (Staff only)

As you need to use the College Academic Performance Management System (CAPMS) in May or Jun 2019 to input students’ assessment results, here comes the refreshment self-practice sessions for CAPMS.

4. Trial Provision on 200GB iCloud Account (Staff only)

There is a trial provision on providing 200GB iCloud account for mobile teaching users for experiencing this offer from Apple. Interested staff can email to mt@cpce-polyu.edu.hk for details.

5. Update of Sync Client for Microsoft OneDrive for Business

As informed by Microsoft, the feature of Document Collaboration in current OneDrive for Business (Groove.exe) Sync Client will no longer be available in Sept 2019. This sync client software will be replaced by OneDrive.exe.
