Monday - Friday 8:30am - 10:30pm
Saturday 8:30am - 6:30pm
Sunday and Public Holidays Closed

 

Typhoon and Black Rainstorm Arrangement

A.  Signal Hoisted Arrangement:

  1. ITU Helpdesk will not open if Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted before the opening hour, or an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that it is likely to be hoisted within the next 2 hours, until the signal is lowered.
  2. ITU Helpdesk will close once it is announced that the No. 8 Signal is likely to be issued within two hours.
  3. ITU Helpdesk will remain opened if Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted during opening hours.

B.  Signal Lowering Arrangement:

During Term / Examination / Revision Period:
Mon - Fri On or before 5:00pm The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 5:00pm The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day.
Sat On or before 2:00pm The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 2:00pm The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day.
During Term Break:
Mon - Fri On or before 5:00pm The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 5:00pm The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day.
Sat On or before 2:00pm The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal.
After 2:00pm The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day.
