Typhoon and Black Rainstorm Arrangement
A. Signal Hoisted Arrangement:
- The Student Computer Centre will not open if Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted before the opening hour, or an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that it is likely to be hoisted within the next 2 hours, until the signal is lowered.
- The student computer centre will close once it is announced that the No. 8 Signal is likely to be issued within two hours.
- The Student Computer Centre will remain opened if Black Rainstorm signal is hoisted during opening hours.
B. Signal Lowering Arrangement:
During Term / Examination / Revision Period: | ||
Mon - Fri | On or before 5:00pm | The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal. |
After 5:00pm | The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day. | |
Sat | On or before 2:00pm | The Student Computer Centre will be re-opened and resume its services after 2 hours, earlier if possible, upon announcement on the lowering of Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm signal. |
After 2:00pm | The Student Computer Centre will remain closed for the day. | |
During Term Break: | ||
